After spending the 2009 holiday season reading several vampire stories, some that included romance and some that didn't Jordan decided to write her own book. Perpetual Light began as a vampire story about a reincarnated woman trying to find her husband. Twelve months, several drafts and just as many rejections later she finally realized she'd written a bad vampire romance. This led to finding Romance Writers of America and the New England Chapter, not to mention one fantastic critique partner, the fabulous Kat Duncan. Oh- and there were several more revisions to Perpetual Light, which was eventually published by Crescent Moon Press in 2012.

Dino under the desk

Writers are always told, "write what you know" or "write what you love." Jordan doesn't know any vampires but she does love a good vampire story. So with the support of her husband and with her black Labrador, Dino, under her desk that's what she writes.

When Jordan isn't writing she can be found enjoying the sunny beaches of New England, antiquing with her husband or gallivanting off to a writer's meeting or conference.

Jordan is a member of RWA National and the following chapters: New England Chapter (NEC), Connecticut (CTRWA), New Jersey (NJRWA), Fantasy, Future and Paranormal (FFnP).
